Dekel’s latest brand creates a new benchmark in the world of hospitality. In fact, a totally new concept in the marketplace being introduced at Dekel’s recently launched Blue Playa Venao project. Our perceptions of hostels have changed radically in recent years and Selina could not be more different to our traditional view – something is remarkable if it redefines its accepted description and Selina does just that; it redefines hostels in terms of comfort, service and quality.
Dekel has identified three target areas within Panama for Selina’s first locations: the first is already in operation right on the edge of the sand of Playa Venao; a world-renowned surf spot and growing in popularity as a tourist destination.
Selina’s other project are in Bocas del Toro's most renowned spot: a colorful building in Isla Colón, a cozy and authentic corner in Pedasí and at the end of 2016 in the popular tourist destination of Red Frog, Bocas del Toro, in North Western Panama.

Selina Medellín and Selina Bogotá are the new it places in Colombia located in the heart of each of these amazing cities.
Soon this 2017, a concept store and platform for emerging talents,will be conversion of an existing four-storey building in Panama City’s Casco Viejo. The building will form the basis for the 250-bed hostel with roof terrace and pool overlooking the Bay of Panama, the historic Casco Viejo on one side and the dramatic City skyline in the background.
The concept for Selina encompasses the provision of high quality yet affordable accommodation for budget and mid-end travelers in modern surroundings and stunning locations.
